Description

I saw the Hobbit last week and finished the book just the other day. Then I cranked this out in two days. Like, nearly all day. Let me tell you, the hair is a thing of beauty. This tuturial is a thing of beauty. [link] I used that nice crocheted curl version: I adore it so much. It took a long time and I had to even add an extra section to fill the back, but I swear, I will no longer stress over curly/wavy hair anymore. Love love love! LOVE. I can't even tell you how much I hate latch-hook hair. I haven't tried loom-style hair, and the curls I use for Pinkie Pie are too big.

I'm pretty happy with the body design. I'm pretty unfamiliar with dolls and humanoid figures (I usually stick with animals) but I wanted him to be small and cutesy. He stands about 3-4 inches tall maybe? And he has thin legs and a bean bag inside so he'll sit nicely propped up on a shelf. I really like him a lot! I'm definitely going to make a Frodo and maybe come up with a dwarf design. And I might even put the pattern with vest and coat up for sale if anyone's interested. Let me know. :]

:bulletblue: Buy him here: [link]
